How to Find the Right House

Because time is money, you don't want to waste your time looking at homes that don't fit your needs, right? That's why I've come up with a great way to determine what you are looking for in a home. With my Wants Versus Needs Analysis, you will be able to prioritize what it is you'll need in a home to make you most comfortable. Even better, I've also included my Personalized Property Wish List make it easier for you to identify the features you need in a home. This might be helpful to you when you're out looking at properties, so be sure to print out copies to take with you.

If you are buying a home for the first time – or haven't bought a home in many, many years – I know that purchasing a home and the process you go through can seem a little overwhelming. I'm here to make this exciting time as stress–free as possible for you, and am happy to answer all the questions you'll have about finding the right home, putting an offer on a property and negotiating, home inspections, and what's needed at closing time.

Ready to Search for Available Homes?

By using the Virginia Multiple Listing Service, you have access to all available homes on the market. Here you will be able to select properties based on your specific needs and view those currently listed on the MLS openly without restriction and without registration.

I've provided a special feature for those of you who would like to save favorite properties to review later, or for those of you who would like to have properties that match your needs emailed to you automatically when they come on the market.
